Maurice O'NEILL Obituary

Maurice was a genuine lovely man. He was a great friend and work colleague. He always wanted to help and even in his 70s was happy to help out shearing. RIP Maurice. A truly good guy who will be missed.

Very sad to hear Maurice has died. He was a valued colleague and friend from NZ Light Leathers in Timaru, and later when we both lived in Geraldine.
He always had some new enthusiasm to share, and was on good form when I saw him last June.
Sorry I can't get to his funeral, am in England.

RIP Maurice. The O'Connor family were blessed to call you our loved brother in law, wonderful uncle and a life long friend. You were always so positive towards us as we were growing up, and never ever ceased to be interested in our family. May all the angels in heaven welcome you. To Shaun, Brendon and Sonya...look after each other, and your Mum. Remember all the good times. There were so many.

I have plenty of memories of Maurice as we lived next door to them, the funniest was the day he lost his false teeth down the toilet, and Septic Sam the sewerage man had to fish them out.
