Maureen LEONARD Obituary

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Hospice South Canterbury, Timaru; aged 83 years. Loved wife of Leo for 62 years. Cherished mum to Ann and Grant, Mark and Karyn. Treasured Nana of Nick and Alice, Jess, Tim, and Hannah. Adored Great Gran of Isabella. Maureen will be greatly missed by Indy (Cat). Loved daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Burgess, sister of Arthur (dec) and Jean, John and Rita, Val (dec) and Max (dec), Jeanette (dec). A Service celebrating Maureen's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 1.00pm, followed by a private interment. A live-stream of the service is available, please email [email protected] or call 686 2148. In lieu of flowers, donations to the South Canterbury Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to The Leonard family, 170 Rosebrook Road, RD4 Claremont, Timaru 7974.
