Mark DAVIES Obituary

Dear Fi, Matt, Yvette, William, Talia, Tom, and Pat, we will always remember Mark's kindness to each one of our family. He was one hell of a friend to all of us. May the vast cavern of grief his loss leaves in your lives be soothed, in turn, by the love and support of friends and family at a time when no words can ever be enough. Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt love. Julie, Simon, Austin, Dayna, Monty, Lily and India.

I met Mark while doing work in Timaru on one of the old boats Sanfords were selling & the Venture K. Mark insisted me & my mate should have lunch on one of the other Sandford boats as the chef had been on that boat for 14 years & the food was very good. He was right & we went for a few lunches while we were there.
I´ll always appreciated that hospitality & how helpful Mark was to us when we were there.
I can´t say Mark was a lifelong friend as some can. But I liked the man so I´m paying my respect.
