Maria YELLOWLEES Obituary
Maria Carmel (nee Symons):
Peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice with her devoted husband Brent and darling daughter Ava by her side, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022; in her 45th year. Dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Bruce Symons, and Kathleen Hanning, and step-daughter of the late Doug Hanning. Treasured sister of Phillip (dec) and Tracy; sister-in-law of Joe White and adored aunty of Renee and Kendal. Loved and respected daughter-in-law of Joe, and the late Ethne Yellowlees. Cherished sister-in-law of Nicky and Mark Redwood. Fun-loving aunty of Cooper and Hannah. Maria will be greatly missed by her beloved father-figure Rob and our extended families. Our families would like to acknowledge the dedicated and compassionate care from Dr John Fanning; Dr Jess Lowe and the Oncology team; the South Canterbury Cancer Society; the District Nurses and the caring team at the South Canterbury Hospice, and all the staff at the South Canterbury and Canterbury District Health Boards.

A service to celebrate Maria's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 2.00pm.
