Peacefully at home on May 29, 2021, surrounded by her family, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Godfrey for 69 years. Much loved mother of Ashley, and Dallas. Cherished nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of Margaret's life will be held at the Gleniti Baptist Church, Gleniti Rd, on Wednesday, June 2, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. Messages can be sent to The McHardy Family, c/o PO Box 772, Timaru, 7940.

Dear Mac (Godfrey), It is very sad time for you and your boys and grandchildren. Margaret was a wonderful friend of Mum's, and I have many wonderful memories of some of the fun things they did together in Nelson and when you lived in Tasman.
