Maree Josephine:
Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Glenwood Rest Home, Timaru, on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Rex, Linda and William, Stephen and Vicky, Debbie and Michael. Adored grandma and great-grandma of all her grandchildren. A funeral mass to celebrate the life of Maree is to be held at Sacred Heart Basilica, 7 Craigie Avenue, Timaru, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11.00am. A delayed stream of the service is available, please email [email protected] or call on 6862148. I have very fond memories of Maree - she came into my class at Sacred Heart every week to volunteer and work with the students. They loved having her read with them and looked forward to her visits. She did this for over 10 years. Maree also lived around the corner from me for many years and I enjoyed keeping in touch with her (and Peter before his passing).
Maree was a kind, generous and gentle soul. Thank you generously giving your time and care to our students.
