As a staff member of Otematata DHS in the early 1960s Malcolm was one of the best staff a beginning teacher could have had. I shared a double classroom block with him for quite some time'
Some years later I met Malcolm in Dunedin - meeting which resulted in me joining the Twizel HS staff.
Would that teachers of his calibre were in front of today's classes.
Lots of treasured memories
