So sorry to hear of Malcolm's recent passing. Condolences to the family. My association with Malcolm was through Twizel basketball and my teams several visits there. Was very pleased to meet up again at the Combined Services Club quite recently. A good guy!

As a staff member of Otematata DHS in the early 1960s Malcolm was one of the best staff a beginning teacher could have had. I shared a double classroom block with him for quite some time'
Some years later I met Malcolm in Dunedin - meeting which resulted in me joining the Twizel HS staff.
Would that teachers of his calibre were in front of today's classes.
Lots of treasured memories
