Lloyd HOOK Obituary

Suddenly at home, after a short illness, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in his 85th year. Loved husband of Mavis, for 61 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Wendy and Gray Wilson (Eastern Bush, Southland), Judy and Gordon Phimister (Geraldine), and Trevor (Perth). Loved Grandfather of Grace and Henry Wilson and Jimmy Phimister. Loved son of Charles and Mary (Kelly) Hook (both dec), and only sibling of Stevenson (dec) and Marie Hook. Uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The service will be available live-streamed – email [email protected] for link. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance Service, Temuka, may be left at the service. Messages to Hook Family, C/- 1 Cascade Place, Geraldine 7930. Gone, but never forgotten. A service to celebrate Lloyd's life will be held at the Temuka Trinity Presbyterian Church, 16 Wilmshurst Road, Temuka, on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 1.00pm. A private interment will follow later, on the day.

I am so sorry to hear that Llyod has passed away. I only knew him for a short time as his support worker, but will miss our chats with Mavis and Lloyd. My deepest sympathy to you Mavis, and your Family. Such a lovely Family Man
