Of Timaru. Passed away on November 12, 2016, aged 68 years. Loved Dad of Toni and Phill Mayers (Queenstown), Richard and Annette Howard (Christchurch), devoted friend of Olive and loved Grandad of Kyra, Finn, Ava and Grace.
"Dad you've left a legacy
at Timaru Engineering Supplies, in the horse racing industry and many sports clubs in Timaru."
A service to celebrate Laurie's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Wednesday, November 16, at 1.00pm, followed by burial at Timaru Public Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be greatly appreciated and may be left at the service. Thanks to Dr Ron Griffiths, Dr Alan Robert, and the wonderful staff at Timaru Hospital and Strathallan Life Care. Also thanks to all Laurie's friends and family for their love and support. I always enjoyed his company on the golf course and in the clubhouse, the haggles were about even. I have great memories and he will be sorely missed
