On June 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Cherished wife of the late Ioannis, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Gregory and the late Sophia, Katerina and Patrick Burns, Peter and Jill, Demetre and Anna, Pelagia and John Callaghan, and Erenie (deceased) and Christopher Papageorge, adored Yiayia to her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a loved sister, aunt, and friend. The Funeral Service for Deanna will be held in the Greek Orthodox Church, 34 Roosevelt Avenue, St Albans, Christchurch, on Saturday, June 28 at 11.00am followed by interment in Avonhead Park Cemetery.
