After a very long and courageous battle with cancer, Kevin passed away peacefully at Elloughton Gardens on Friday, August 22, 2025; aged 81. Dearly loved husband, workmate and best friend of Shona for nearly 59 years. Treasured dad and father-in-law of Andrea and Brent, Simon and Clare, and Joanna and Stephen. Devoted and adored grandad to Olivia, Luke, Logan, Charlotte, and Lucy. Loved brother and brother-in-law to Austin (dec) and Clare, Janice and John, Graeme and Diane, Carol and Mike. A private family funeral has been held to celebrate Kevin's life. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Elloughton Gardens and Hospice South Canterbury for all their care and support. Ruth & I extend to you all our sincere sympathy in noting the passing of one of Milford“s farming icons & a real nice guy, Kevin. Shona for nearly 25 years as your mailman I watched you both working side by side in all weathers (often on wet & muddy ground) on your carrot harvester, your dedication to each other was un wavering something you should be truely proud of. Treasure your memories, our thoughts are with you & your family at this sad time. Regards Graham Pauley (Silverstream, Kaiapoi).
