Keith STEWART Obituary


Passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Only husband of Bridget; dedicated father to Bex, Thalia, Kenny (dec), Ben, and Kara (dec); grandad to Seth, Noah, Ngaraya, Jake, and Te Awa; son of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon (Beau) and Olive Stewart; youngest brother to Noelene, Ivan, Marjorie, and Hillary; brother-in-law to John, Paul and Annette; funniest uncle to Morgan and Cameron; uncle to the Stewarts and Wilkins too; godfather to Akena; cheeky friend of Frizz, Roota, Leo, Nuts, Inky, Kingi, Thingding, Archie, Davey, Deano, Boof, Tomo, Salim, Perry and many more. Cass's service will be held at Temuka's Alpine Energy Centre at 11.00am on Thursday, September 5, with a wake at the Rugby Clubrooms and private cremation. Cass and his family thank everyone for their love and support. Instead of flowers, donations to Timaru Hospice are appreciated.

love you so much it does not even feel real that your gone man for an 11 yrs old child its the hardest thing i have ever been through. i dont even thionk i could explain too you how i feel just walking you in to the crematorium broke me and i cant wait to go see your proud work out the west coast. love you forever grandad see you on the other side. To the Stewart Family,Our condolances go out to you all at this time,with Cass's passing.For many years Cass was a respected Work Colleague,Union Delegate on the Smithfield Slaughter Board.He always strived for the betterment of the Workers,in the representative roles He held, never one to shirk on His beliefs or Duties and could lift the spirits and morale of those around Him.A great many Punters Club days,were also organized and enjoyed.
