Karen FARTHING Obituary

Passed peacefully on January 21, 2025, in the care of Strathallan Life Care. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sandie and Mark Cain, Scott and Trudy Cowles, Vicki and Stefan Thorburn. Treasured nana of Chelsea and James, Paige, Connor; Jake, Flynn, Lochie; Sophie, Amelia, and Charlotte, and great-nana of Marley. Loved wife of Bill. Dearly loved sister of Margot Johnston, Duncan Macdonald, and Fiona Maddren. Special fun loving cousin of Sue. The service celebrating Karen's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimers South Canterbury would be much appreciated and can be left at the service. Messages to: the Farthing family, C/- PO Box 4091, Highfield, Timaru 7942.
