June RUSSELL Obituary
Peacefully at Timaru Public Hospital, on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Much loved and adored wife of Peter Berry. Very much loved mum of John, mother-in-law of Annette, and devoted Grandma of Willow (Auckland). Adored, treasured and much loved step-mum of Pete, Paulette and Judith. Grandma of 12 and Great-Grandma of 8. Much loved sister to her family in Canada and Scotland. Loved Auntie of her family everywhere and devoted friend to so many. Our thanks to McKenzie HealthCare for their kindness, care and hugs. Messages c/- the Russell family to 78 Brisbane Street, Waltham, Christchurch 8023. At June's request a private cremation has been held and a memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, at Dignity with Sincerity's Funeral Centre, 78 Brisbane Street Waltham, Christchurch at 11.00am. (Vaccine Pass required).

Uncle Peter,John and Family. I am very sad to hear that Aunt June who passed away. I am sorry I can't be there for the Service. I missed not talking to her and was talk to her on her Birthday. Aunt June was known to Bunty and Bill and the boys in Temuka. Hear is Comfort words.Guardian angel protect you uncle Peter and John and family you every hour of the day when you ask him Angel's fly around you and special angel is aunt June and is making sure that safe,with Peace,joy,happiness. Other niceties have your own personal guardian angel to stand by you with you ups and downs. When you put your hands out you aunt presents around you dream in a happy dream is still apart of you intil you meet hearing at the other end of tunnel of of the light when you come to rainbow and think of the wizard oz dancing with joy. Dear Peter
What sad news to hear of June´s passing. I hope you find comfort in the thoughts and love of friends and family. June will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Through all her health issues, as in life, June has shown an amazing strength of body and mind that few of us could equal. Her tenacity was admirable. A strong woman in every way.
I cannot attend the service tomorrow but I will be with you in spirit.

So sad to hear of June's passing. She was our marriage celebrant in Sept 2011 and we found her to be absolutely delightful & a wonderful lady. She gave us a gorgeous glass rose with a Scottish ribbon, due to my husbands heritage. So sorry to all June's family on your sad loss. Thoughts are with you all.
