Judith Alice (Judy):
Peacefully at S.C. Hospice, on Saturday, December 5, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Billy, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Nathan and Jenny (Palmerston North), Rechelle and Johnny Rogers (Timaru), Paul and Samorn (Brisbane), loved Nana of Sam, and Katie; James, Jake, and Addyson; and Abbey. Judy's farewell will be held at Salisbury Park Crematorium, Beaconsfield Rd, Timaru, on Wednesday, December 9, at 3.00pm. In lieu of flowers donations to S.C. Hospice would be gratefully appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to the Hessell family, c/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.

We were so sorry to learn of Judy's passing. We send our condolences to you all in the loss of a loving wife, Mum, and grandmother.
We are sorry we are unable to be with you today, but we send our love from Wellington.
It was lovely, Bill, to speak with both you and Judy on the phone just a couple of weeks ago, memories of our respective times in Papua New Guinea.

HESSELL, Judy (nee Eden):
As the sun came up on Saturday, December 5, 2020, Judy grew her wings surrounded by her loving family. Judy was the most dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Ron and Sharyn, Aunty of Jeremy and Annalisa and Anna and Steven, and great-aunty of Lilly and Stanley. The sun has set, voices whisper with laughter, open arms reach out welcoming a sister and daughter. When the sun rises there is still grief left behind, those that are left living still feel the pain. A sister, wife, mother, aunty and great-aunty was she.
Her spirit will last for ever
and a day.
