Of Hampden. NZ 8639AB HMNZS Achilles. Passed away peacefully at Rendell on Reed, Oamaru, on September 29, 2016, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband for 59 years of the late Shirley, dearly loved father and father-in-law of Ken and Denise (Tarras), Allan and Jane (Waimate), Les (Oamaru), Don and Marie (Oamaru), Maria and Chris (Christchurch), and proud and loving grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joe's service will be held at the Whitestone Funeral Services Chapel, 54 Weston Road, Oamaru, on Monday, October 3, at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation. Messages to 38 Leith Street, Oamaru 9400.
