Jordan Allan:
Suddenly at home, on August 27, 2017, aged 17 years. Dearly loved and most treasured son and stepson of Neil Smolenski and Michelle Brady, adored and loving brother of Laila Smolenski-Jenkins and Ashlee Brady, greatly loved and respected grandson of Walter and Patricia Smolenski (Timaru), dearly loved nephew and cousin of Jan, Stephen, Elliot and Emily Mann (Rolleston).

Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Jordan Smolenski, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Service to farewell and remember Jordan will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Friday, September 1, at 10.00am, thereafter private cremation.

Hearing of your passing was so upsetting I immediately felt sick to the stomach. I didn't believe it at first I thought it was a stupid school rumor. I couldn't and still can't understand how I was just with you on the snow camp to then hear that you have passed. My deepest condolences go to his family. Seeing how strong you all were at the funeral would have made Jordan very proud. I shared 2 classes with Jordan at Hagley, Maths and Outdoor ed. Outdoor Ed was where I got to know Jordan the most. Our outdoor ed class is very small making it easy to get to know everyone well and become really close like a little family. Jordan loved this class he was eager to try everything and had fun doing it, while also keeping the class entertained with his amazing sense of humor and crazy dancing. Before maths started on a Friday afternoon he would buy hot chips from the cafeteria and come and sit by me as we had a small chat or watched Rick and Morty, it's small moments like these that I will hold forever in my heart. Jordan's funeral was the first funeral i have been too and It was an amazing service and one I will never forget. Jordan you are loved and you will be remembered. Rest In Peace my dear friend. ❤

Bro it feels so wrong not seeing you at school. Its not right. We miss you so much and wish we could change everything. Today was the toughest day I think anyone you knew have had and it's because we cant stand not having you here with us. I'll always remember the snow caving trip but mostly remember for how you were so happy. Biggest heart which I think I'll miss the most. You'd be proud with your perants for how well today went. Was an amazing service and totally stood up to you and what you deserved.

Jordan was an amazing friend, we had our good times and our bad times but im only going to remember all the good times. i loved having him around, he turned my day upside down, and made me so happy when i was upset.

I'm so gutted that I will never be able to relive my memories that I shared with you and our friends. Although we were never super close I could always see how much you cared for your friends and how you would put them before you no matter what.

Jordan I'm so sorry this happened to you. You had a lot going for you, everyone is missing you so much. It's not the same not having you at school to chat to and have a laugh at the year 9's. You were always cheerful and many people loved having you around because no matter what you had going on, you made sure that didn't effect others around you. I'm always going to remember the snowcraft trip for how excited you were and how bad you were at snowball fights. Also how you basically had a kitchen attached to your back the whole camp. When I asked you why you had so much stuff your reply will always crack me up. You always had an answer for everything and it wasn't always the best but it made people laugh. I wish we had more time to talk but we'll meet again soon and yes I will annoy you then aswell. Love you man fly high
