Jonathan BANKS Obituary

I am so sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. My sister Karen and I have worked out that Johnny was a distant relation of ours. Our dad was Morvyn Petrie, our grandmother was Esther Turner (nee Banks) so Uncle Edward (Banks) was my dad's uncle. We are very saddened to read about Johnny and we pass onto his family our sincere condolences.

Johnny passed away suddenly in Christchurch Hospital, on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Son of the late Francie and Donald Banks of Carew, and step-son of Christine. Cherished husband of Trudie and incredible father of Alexis, Lincoln, and Millah. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Nichola and Ben Robertson, Megan Banks and Ben Firman, Hamish and Leeanne Banks, Nikki McDougall and Rob Maskiell. Loved nephew of the late Barbara, Bryan Donaldson, Ross and Eung Donaldson, and Kevin and Glenda Donaldson. Cousin to Craig, Matthew, James, Brentton, Caitlin, Alex, Connor, Blair and Ellen.
