John Alfred Dunstan (Tomo):
Ex Senior Police Constable of The NZ Police. Sadly passed away on January 25, 2023, at home in the loving care of his friends and family, after a courageous battle. Dearly loved and treasured dad of Vania, and the late Peter, Kalena, and James. Dearly loved granddad John of Kalena, and Liam, and his great-grandchildren Malakai, Florencia, Zayden, and Kyarne. Loved and devoted friend to many.
Gone Fishing
A funeral service for John will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru, on Tuesday, January 31 at 2.00pm. Livestream of the service can be viewed via the following link www.betts.co.nz/live-stream/ John's burial will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 1.00pm at the Waimate Cemetery. Died surrounded by his loved ones. Although "Big John's" life ended before we were ready, the time he spent with us was memorable and full of laughter. 70 years is a long time to have had a loyal and trusted mate like him. It was an honor and a privilege to have helped John on his next journey.
Rest in peace my friend.
