John TARRANT Obituary
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 27, 2021. Aged 74. Much loved husband and best friend of Ali. Dearly loved friend "Johnny" of Angelique, Jimmy and Alex, and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice, Timaru, would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages for John's family may be posted to the Tarrant family, C/- Galbraith Funeral Services, 26 King Street, Temuka. The Funeral Mass for John will be held at St Jospeh's Catholic Church, Wilkin Street, Temuka, on Thursday, July 1, at 11.00am.

So sad to hear of John's passing. I have many great memories of Monday night Athletics and trips to Christchurch with Dad and John and other athletes from Temuka. A lovely man who will not be forgotten. Jeanette Keays ( Dippie).

We wanted to express how grateful we were to have Johnny as our coach/mentor at athletics when we were growing up.
We all loved doing athletics because of him, he was so encouraging and so much fun.
