John SHORTER Obituary

At home in Twizel, on August 4, 2023, in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of the late Linda. Much loved dad of Ronnie, Susan and Colin Mataira, Peter and Tami, Graham, the late Kevin, and the late Lynette Maré. Loved grandfather of Rocky, Starajean, and Tia; Michaela, Tyler, and Jarrad, and loved great-grandfather of Dysharn. A loved brother of his family in the UK. A service for John will be held at The Razza, Twizel, on Tuesday, August 15 at 1.00pm, thereafter interment at the Twizel Cemetery. Messages to 31 Pukaki Place, Twizel 7901.

So sad to hear of the passing of John. He was a very dear friend of mine while I was living in Twizel. ( 24 years ) A great workmate to have working beside me. Was a true gentleman.
