SHERWEN, John Philip - On 20th May suddenly but peacefully at St. George's Residential Home, Millom, John Philip, aged 82 years, late of Wasdale Park, Seascale and Grundy Croft, Drigg, beloved husband of the late Patricia and a most dear friend and partner of Dorothy. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 27th May at St. Peter's Church, Drigg at 2.00p.m., followed by burial within the churchyard. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired towards Cancer Research UK or NW Air Ambulance may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom. Tel 01229 772295.
