Died at home on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. Aged 73. Loved husband of Shona and loved father and father-in-law of Simon and Anna, Anthea and Colin Lavelle, Juliet and Johnny Bartels, Damian and Katharina. Loved GranJohn of Esme and Joseph; Evelyn, Delphine and Theodora; Leah and Amelia. A Funeral Mass and celebration of John's life will be held at St Thomas Catholic Church, Mountainview Road, Timaru, on Monday, May 31, at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Prostate.org.nz would be appreciated or may be left at the service. Messages may be sent c/- the Reid family, PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.
