Former NZ Police On September 4 2023, peacefully at Parklands Hospital, in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of the late Margaret, and the late Colleen. Loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Mango, and the late Christine. Much loved Pop of Stephanie, Rohan, and the late Natalia; Scott, Daniel, and Paul. Loved brother of Colleen, and the late Muriel, and respected brother-in-law of Graeme, and Kevin. Messages to the family of John Hume can be sent to c/- PO Box 26112, Christchurch 8148.
