John GRIMMER Obituary

I have just heard of Johnny's passing, he was a great friend to my ex husband Ewan Tretheway, who has also passed. Johnny was such a lovely friendly person and we did keep in touch from a distance as we now live in Paraparaumu. He was a lover of sport and people. I am sure Ewan & Johnny will share some tales from above.

You were a top man Johnny. Rest mate

Johnny you may have been short in stature but big in personality was good too give you a winner and see you recently and was great to be able to watch online RIP see you in the middle

So sorry to hear about Johnny shall miss chatting with him, have known him for over 50 years. Condolences to his family Sharon and Gavin.

Very sad to lose a friend. John & I very close as youngsters and recently been in touch. John´s parents Win & Ralph also helped our family during tough times. To Peter & family our sincere condolences mates never forgotten . Regards David & Jan Pringle.

To Peter and family. So sad to hear of your loss of John. We still have furniture in our house that Johnny sold to us whilst he worked at Butterfields and I enjoyed all the battles against him on the cricket field. RIP Johnny Grimmer.Brian and Joan Gosney Melbourne
