Quickly, but peacefully, on May 2, 2024, at South Canterbury Hospice, surrounded by family. Dearly loved partner and soulmate of Heather Hinton, loved father and father-in-law of Julian and Hayley, and the late Leana. Loved grandad of Mackenzie, and Neve, dearly loved by Heather's family, Craig and Louise Hinton, Rebecca and Mike Shepherd, and Marc Hinton and their children. Loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Jewel, Caroline and Robin Wills, Heather Perry and Clarry Umuroa, and loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A service for John will be held at Betts Funeral Services, 33 North Street, Timaru, on Wednesday, May 8 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Timaru Cemetery. Messages C/- PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.
