A lovely old gentleman who loved to stop & have a good chat & a laugh. He was always full of encouragement & praise when he saw me doing projects on my home. John I can only hope someone shows you love by regularly visiting you in your final resting place. As you did weekly to your late wife.

It is with immense sadness that I learned of John´s passing. He was a legend at the Waimate Cycling Club, racing as recently as last year. He would often entertain us with his stories from races gone by. We will miss him.
Our deepest condolences to his family.

Rest in peace me old mate. I hoped you biked to heaven and stay fit as we will remember you. Your old school chats about cycling in the 50s and 60s at Cbay in the chillax area.Remember the day you were so far in front at a Waimate Cycling race you were able to bike around an extra block before returning to the course and still winning you bloody old burglar.
