John was my favorite teacher. He gave me a love of poetry and read us the most brilliant stories. Who can forget Cats or the Otterbury Incident? Mary he adored you! One of the most moving theatrical moments was when he played Jesus , the botanical gardens was the venue and it was so beautiful. Thank you Mary for sharing him for all the years he was involved in the theater. There must have been times you wondered if you would have to make an appointment to see him. Lastly, I became a Catholic in later life and he inspired me with his quiet gentle faith and beautifully read Bible readings.

Sorry family, was not able to attend the service.
My condolences especially to you Mary. I will miss this lovely man, who gave so much joy and happiness to so many people over the years.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. John was indeed a lovely gentleman, and I know he will be dearly missed.

John was Stage manager/production manager of the first play I was in at the Playhouse - Wait Until Dark. A lovely man.
