Johanne EDMONSTON Obituary
(formerly Knowles)
(nee Manning):
Passed away on January 31, 2019, after a short battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at the South Canterbury Hospice. Very much loved wife of Trevor, and dearly loved Mum and mum-in-law to Greg and Bridgit Knowles, Anna and Leighton McRitchie. Adored Nana to Liam, Jessica and Cameron Knowles, Harry and Thomas McRitchie, and Ashley and Logan. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Toni and the late Bob Anniss, Gill and John Brasell, John and Aylene, David and Pam, Ian and Carey, Alan and Janine, Helen, Donald and Debbie Edmonston, Jean and Graham Oliver, Patricia and Rodney Tiplady, Miriam and David Mowat, and loved aunty of all her nieces, nephews and a very loved and special niece Jane Marrett. In lieu of flowers donations to South Canterbury Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Johanne will be held at the Fairlie Community Centre, Main Road, Fairlie, on Tuesday, February 5 at 2.00pm. Thereafter interment at the Fairlie Cemetery. Dear Trevor Greg and Anna. I'm sending my love to you all at this very sad time. After losing a very dear lady Joanne, that I spent many hours with, with our children in fairlie. Scouting where we spent time together at scout meetings. Joanne entertained many at meetings by saying make up your minds as we're not here to stuff spiders.
