Johan WIELDRAAYER Obituary

On June 3, 2025; aged 96. Cherished husband of the late Jo. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Lammert and Kathryn, Ineke and Andy, Gloria and Gary, Johnny and MaryJane, and Brenda and David. Treasured Opa and Opa John of his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved brother, brother-in-law, and precious Uncle John. A service to celebrate the life of John will be held at St Columba Presbyterian Church, 59 Main St, Fairlie, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11.00am, followed by burial at the Fairlie Cemetery. This is especially sad news to hear.

As it was a sincere privilege to have been able to consider this remarkable, industrious and inspiring human, a friend.

Both John and Jo formed a formidable team, who lived equally inspiring and full lives that they filled to and over the very brim.

Every visit to their home and garden on Ayr Street, left me feeling like I had visited an oasis on so many levels.

So, nothing but love and hugs to you all.
