Was a real shock to read of Joan's passing as she was her usual 'full of life's happy self when I last saw her at the rest home. It was always uplifting seeing Joan's beautiful smile in the staffroom at Timaru Boys' High School She will be remembered and missed by so many. My deepest sympathy goes to you all but especially to my school friends Lyn Ali and Sandra
