Condolences to the family. Jenny was a wonderful student in the Horticulture classes I took. I never left empty handed after a visit to her and Bill.

Jenny was my home even teacher at Timaru College for 3 years and lived in our street. She was an excellent teacher and instilled in me a love for cooking that remains today. I remember the dining room where we had an opportunity to cook a 3 course meal for invited guests. Joanne and I invited the Zapps. We cooked a trout baked in cider- which I procured from my neighbour. The recipe only required one cup and do the rest was drunk at the school dance that night! Great memories of Jenny. Lorraine.

Deepest sympathies to the Moore family. Mrs Moore was the beginning of my food passion, she wrote a reference for my first job!! Stayed in the Pastry & bread industry for 21 years, but her enthusiasm rubbed off on my enthusiasm and it was always a pleasure to be in home ec

We were very privileged to have Jenny as our neighbour. She was such a kind and caring lady, giving advice on the garden and sharing cuttings etc. She made the best scones as the guys laying our concrete next to her will indeed voucher for. Rest in peace Jenny. Thinking of Jenny's family at this very sad time.

Condolences to Mrs Moores family, she was my teacher in the early 90s. Always a straight talking teacher. Definitely not one to mince words. Have spoken of her often throughout the years. Forever remembered, rest well Mrs Moore

My condolences to Andrea on Jen's passing. Was a pleasure to care for her during her remaining time at home.

Mrs Moore was my cooking teacher at Mountainview in the 90s. She was one of the very few I liked back then! She was recently looked after by my mum through enliven and she was able to pass that message on from me. She taught from the heart. RIP Mrs Moore x

Mrs Moore was my home ec teacher in the early 80's. It was a privilege to be taught by her and to be one of her students. She was amazing and I learnt a lot from her. One of my favourite subjects too and thanks to her I passed it in school cert. Beautiful lady now at peace. Deepest sympathies to her family and friends

Mrs Moore was my teacher in high school and if not for her believing in me, I would not of finished High School at all.
She made learning and cooking fun!

I had Mrs Moore as my home economics teacher in the late 80's I'm so sorry to hear that she has passed she will be sadly missed.
