Passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Devoted mother of Nicola, and Brenda. Much loved mother-in-law to Craig, and Mike. Treasured Nanny of Patricia, Rikiana, Nicholas, Sammy, Tamzin, Amie, and many more. Great-Nanny of Harlow, and Kylo.

Finally free and reunited with her Brucie.

A private cremation has been held, as per mum's wishes. Messages to Ruth's family, C/o PO Box 772, Timaru 7940.

Ruthie was at first a workmate which turned into a lifetime friend. She was a strong woman who put others before herself & she had the biggest heart. I´m going to miss our talks, laughs and dinners and most of all you Ruthie. I´m so glad I got to hug you for the last time. Condolences to your family who you loved so much ,at this sad time. Fly high Ruthie..I feel honoured you were part of my life xx R.I.P

Sending condolences to Ruth's family. We were neighbours then became friends enjoying chats over a cuppa and Saturday night get to gethers at my house. She enjoyed the Bee gees in concert on the Tele. A great night of singing along.Great times. My cats Charlie and Sam very very fond her. Lots of good memories. Ruth was always proud of her family and spoke often of each one of you.
