Jeannette Mary:
Passed away peacefullly at the SC Hospice, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Dearly loved eldest daughter of the late John and Terry McDonald, devoted and much loved sister and sister-in-law of Paul and Marilyn McDonald (and the late Margaret), Ian McDonald, Helen Gardiner (Christchurch), Mary and the late Don Cameron, Patricia and Ross Taylor (Auckland), Teresa and Alan Potter. Loved and respected friend of Jacquie McDonald, Barry Gardiner, Robin Jenkins, Peter Ward and Joy Giles. Fond aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the caring team at the SC Hospice.

I connected with my cousin Jeannette (nth time removed)some 20 years ago. Her grandfather was my grandmother's younger brother. He emigrated to New Zealand, she to Canada. We had several visits in Canada and New Zealand, and I am so very glad we connected.
She was kind, funny, articulate, engaged, and always, wonderful company.
I will miss her very much.
