Jean Evelyn (nee Riddoch):
Having lived a full life of 93 years, Jean left us on Sunday, March 6, 2022, with Heather and Georgie by her side. Loved wife of Willie (dec 1979). Dearly loved and respected Mum of Heather, best mother-in-law ever of Barry, and cherished Gran of Cameron and Jordan, and Georgie. Great-grandma of wee Lotti. Very special and loved mum, mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma to Petal (dec 2020) and Ian Coles; Vicki, Steve, Lily, Macgregor, and Fin Rae; Karina, Andy, Hamish, Claudia, Quinn, and Nicholas Tarrant; Leanne, Glen, Ben, Bridie, and Mitchell Fifield; Paul and partner Amberlee, Paige, and Pippa Coles. Loved sister, sister-in-law and aunty of Mary and Graeme Andrews and family. Very special and loved family friend of Sharleen. A huge thank you to Nicola and the team from Forward Care who gave Jean so much support in recent years and enabled her to continue living at home until recently. Thank you to the staff of St John Ambulance, (especially Murray from the Dairy), ED and Medical wards of Timaru Hospital, and Strathallan Life Care for the respect and care offered to Jean in her last weeks. A funeral service for Jean will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2.00pm. Vaccination Passes will be required.
