Dear Richard, Stewart, Phillip and families

Sending you all lots of love at this time. I am so sorry I can't be there to celebrate Jan tomorrow. I have so many wonderful memories spending time at Waimumu Road with Colin and Jan growing up. It always felt like my second family, and always felt so welcome and so at home. I loved hanging out growing up, walking Saber around the neighborhood, and helping Jan (not sure I was ever any help!) in lister yarns. Jan taught me how to knit my own beanie on the knitting machine for wider living week, and I will always remember how she looked after me the day of my Gt Grandmas funeral and sat on the stairs leading down to lister yarns with me talking about memories. Jan- Thank you for all your kindness and love over the years...many many years (40!!) I feel so very lucky to have your beautiful knitted clothes, baby shawl and quilts for my 3 babies - something I treasure forever. Reunited with Colin, Delwyn and Brian - you will be missed - Rest in love Jan XXXX

I met Jan through several organisations and Clubs we both belonged to. Jan was such a talented lady and always willing to help and assist in many situations. Jan will be sadly and I always enjoyed her company. RIP Jan. Margaret Nelson
