To all the Wilkie family. Please accept our deepest sympathy in your sad loss of Wendron. Another one of Timaru's great grocers of the 70's and 80's. I always remembered his laugh in the days when we all got together in the mornings down at Morton's purchasing our fruit and veggies. Great days. RIP Wendron. Brian and Joan Gosney Melbourne.

I worked for Wendron and Joan when they owned the shop on the corner of King and James Street. Lots of really happy memories. Rest in peace Wendron. My thoughts

Our deepest sympathy on your sad loss. So many good memories when I was a young lad visiting. Such a friendly and sincere man who loved a conversation.
Take care

Our family has lost a great inspiration and role model, his friends and acquaintances have lost a true gentleman and I have lost my Dad! You will be missed by many and forgotten by very few who met and had the pleasure of getting to know you. I am proud to call myself your son and will love you always.
