I'm really sad to hear that Jim has passed i was one of his cleaners at Strathallan resthome we would always have a great laugh together, he was my favourite resident, when he was down n not feeling the best or being a stubborn bugger the caregivers would make me get him up and jolly again. He told me about his sons his family house n loved plants he once showed me his scrapbook of all the flowers he's grown in his lifetime.he had a small lemon tree outside his window but only one small lemon was always on it. So for his birthday I went out n brought lemons placed them under the bush n went back to see him. He was totally amazed by that then I had to go around n pick them up n he ate them everyday. Small things in life can change how somehow else feels. He had the biggest grin on his face all week. Anyways we shared some really great moments and you'll be sadly missed. RIP. Condolences to the family especially Jessie who I did meet more than once. Lots of love Sarah bowley (ex cleaner) and Blake Milligan ( present kitchen hand) at Strathallan.

Love you Dad and so happy you passed in peace and finally be reunited with Mum who left us far too early. We are having a great time reminiscing over your life and especially going through all my old photo albums plus all the photos you left me.

Dad you did a fantastic job raising us and have always been there to help and support as we needed help, so was an absolute privilege supporting you in your later years although 6 trips in an ambulance was pushing it in a 12 months period haha.

Remembering Uncle Jim at this time. I have favourable memories of time spent with him in my younger years. He was a character, always happy and treated us well. He will always be remembered. Sending love to Philip Karen, and families. From you nephew.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you all. Uncle Jim was a wonderful man and we will all miss him very much. We have beautiful memories of Uncle Jim and Aunty Dawn working very hard at their gorgeous day lily nursery in Winchester. They always made us welcome. Uncle Jim was our good looking fun loving uncle and the last of our mum´s siblings. Great memories and happy times with them both. May Uncle now rest in peace.
Love
Margaret and Brian O´Reilly and family.
