I MISS U SOOOOO MUCH DAD
This just doesn't seem real,.
It's like a nightmare that I'll wake up from soon & be able to hear ur comforting words ..... "It's just a bad dream everythings alright"
If only I could have a few more minutes, & 1 last hug from the most SPECIAL PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER KNOWN
REST PEACEFULLY NOW DAD
I'LL LOVE U FOREVER
TILL WE MEET AGAIN

Sorry to hear about Ivan. Fond memories in his old bus(48 Mercury) when I was a young lad in Timaru. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Good memories of Zingari Rugby Club in the '70's

To June, Ian, Bruce and Deirdre and your families. My deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Ivan. A special person I remember well from the Scottish Society in the 70's. A couple of years ago when I was visiting my brother, Andrew Engstrom, we visited the Sorensons, and we talked about our remembrances then.

SORENSON, Ivan Bruce:
Passed away peacefully May 6, 2020, in his 90th year. Dearly cherished Dad of Deirdre, and very very special grandad and great-grandad “Par” of Amber and Hunter and a friend to many. A true selfless gentleman gone forever. The heart of the home has flown. Rest peacefully now Dad “Par” we will love you for eternity. Our hearts will never be whole again.
“Your wings were ready
our hearts were not”
The day started as any other until we got the call,
We knew it was coming we just didn’t know when.
Still didn’t make it any easier.
The pain will take months if not years to stop.
The yearning for your kind face, your smile and your wise words will forever be a memory.
We looked around and everything was normal except for us something had moved.
The grief, the anger, the sadness we feel will stay a lifetime.
But we know one day we will smile for the great and proud man we all knew and loved.
For you are now in a better place, a place where you don’t have to worry or be in pain.
A place you can hear, see and smile down on us.
And we know whenever we are feeling sad or down,
We just have to look to the clouds above and we know you can see us.
