I have very fond memories of Ella through hockey involvement with our families, Eion having played with my brothers and myself with and against Alison and Helen. I also saw Ella over the years involved in community events and she was always keen for a chat.
Similarly when both Mum (June) and Ella were at Strathallan I would encounter her.
My very sincere sympathy to you all on your loss.

Dear Helen, and all the McKerchar family,
My sincere sympathy. Ella was such a lovely lady. She kept in touch through the years, popping in to the florist shop I had, always cheerful, always had time for a chat. I still use some of her gardening advice she gave me way back when I was friends with Helen at Albury primary school, and would come and stay for weekends.
Please know I am thinking of you all
