Irene SHIELDS Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Otago Community Hospice on Saturday, December 28, 2024; in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of Ray (dec), cherished mother of Ken (Nelson), Lyn and Mike McCarthy (Dunedin) and Rob (Nelson). Loved Grandma of her 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A memorial afternoon tea to be held at a later date, in Timaru.

Thinking of you all, Mrs Sheilds was a lovely neighbour, we always enjoyed the daily waves from the verandah, she will be missed by all . The Jones Family ( straight across the road )

Thinking of you all at this very sad time. Marie and Irene worked together cleaning motels many moons ago , they were great friends.
