Irene DICK Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Oamaru Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2025, aged 77 years, after a long courageous battle with Dementia. Much loved, cherished and highly respected wife of Colin for 55 years. Loving mother of Anne (Christchurch), Karen and Martin Rigby (Wellington), Lynnie and Andy Nevin (Hanmer Springs), treasured and loving Grandma of Ole and Zak. Youngest daughter of the late Stafford and Louisa Pringle (Tokarahi), much loved and respected sister and sister-in-law of Graham (dec) and Faye, Lindsay (dec) and Mary, Mary (dec) and Graham Strachan, Ruth and Alan Taggart (both dec), Desmond and Elsie (both dec). Sincere thanks to all the staff and carers at both the Observatory Village Rest Home, and for the last year at Southanjer Dementia Rest Home Oamaru. You have all been amazing. A funeral service to celebrate Irene's life will be held at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, Coquet Street, Oamaru, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 2.00pm.
