Imelda Allan:
On Sunday, August 6, 2017, in her 91st year, peacefully at Timaru Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of the late Edward (Eddie). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Allan and Karen, Les and Gail, Ross, and Wayne and Allie. Loved nana of Ethan, and Kennard; Ian, Benjamin, and Georgina. A loved Auntie Imelda of Fay; Nellie and Frances; John and Andrew.
A special smile, a special face,
And in our hearts a special place,
Your love was not selfish,
For others you lived,
Not for what you received
But what you could give,
Your heart was true, your actions kind,
What wonderful memories you left behind.
A service to celebrate Imelda's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Friday, August 11, at 1.30pm, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the Blind Foundation, Timaru Branch, will be gratefully accepted and can be left at the service.
