Ian WILLIAMSON Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Ian at South Canterbury Hospice on Monday, November 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. A devoted and much-loved husband of Theresa, and an extra special father to Jim and Shan, Calum, Sarah and Philip. A cherished grandfather to Tara, Sylvia, Laura, and Bella. A loving brother to Willie, Carol, and Colin, and dearly loved son of Bella and the late Alec Williamson. A loved brother-in-law, and Dad, our wise king, your reign of love and wisdom taught us to live with integrity, compassion, and strength, leaving an eternal legacy. No flowers by request. Donations, in lieu, to South Canterbury Hospice would be appreciated. At Ian's request a private cremation has taken place.

Ian , an awesome brother in law whose presence in our lives has given us so many fantastic memories of times spent and shared together. A true ,devoted family man whose love , knowledge and wisdom was much respected . Our love and thoughts are with Theresa and family, Carole & Brian and family , Colin and mum Bella. We were so sorry to get the news of our awesome Ian's passing. Ian was such an amazing brother in law , we loved his company, always enjoyed our visits and holidays with all the family down south. An amazing guy, we loved him to bits and will always feel so grateful that he was in our lives and such a big part of our family. Our love and thoughts at this sad , difficult time, are with our Theresa and the family. Love Delaine and Bill. RIP Ian.
