MEHRTENS, Ian Lester:
Passed away peacefully at South Canterbury Hospice on Sunday, March 25, 2018, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Pam, respected Dad and father-in-law of Ross and Diane, Peter and Beth, Donald and Sharron. Loved Grandad of Simon and Rachael, Andrew and Stacey, Sam, Zoe and Cameron, Ben and Hana. Loved Great-Grandad of Mackenzie, Flyn, Keira and Addison-Rose. A service to celebrate Ian's Life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Shearman Street, Waimate on Wednesday, March 28, at 1.30pm followed by interment at Waimate Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to South Canterbury Hospice would be gratefully accepted and may be left at the service. Messages to: 7 Innes Street, Waimate 7924.

MEHRTENS, Ian Lester: Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Martin (dec) and Rosemary; Valmai and Pat (dec) Ponsonby; Graham and Kathleen. Much loved uncle of Elizabeth, Judith, Martin, Robert, Grant, Felicity, Angela, Timothy and their families. Uncle Ian farmed in Partnership with our father (Martin) for many years in the Douglas and Waihao Downs area. A good mate who along with Dad taught us all to work hard. Uncle Ian rest well.
