Ian McPHERSON Obituary

Passed peacefully in the care of Hospice South Canterbury on July 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family; aged 80 years. Much loved husband and soulmate of Carol for 56 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Grant, Janene and Mick, Marlana and Martin. Proud and loving grandad of Riah, Georga, Reece, Neala, Jayda, and Mea. And loved great-grandad of Tui, and Marlee. Special thanks to the Cancer Society, Doctor Crawford, and Hospice South Canterbury for the exceptional care. A Service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice South Canterbury would be much appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to: The McPherson Family, C/- PO Box 4091, Highfield, Timaru 7942.
