Hey Helen
Sending all our love to you and your family, especially today! Sorry we're unable to come and farewell Ian in person, but we're with you in spirit.
Ian had such a huge heart and would do absolutely anything for anyone. We have lots of wonderful memories of him! I was just remembering this morning back a number of years when I decided to take up running, and Ian gallantly supplied moral support. I think the first 'fun' run I ever did was in Timaru. Ian was a natural athlete, me - not so much! He could have charged on ahead, but chose to trot along beside me, not even breaking a sweat while I huffed and puffed all the way.
We will come up and see you in a little while, when your world is a slightly different shape than it is currently.
