Gypsy POULSTON Obituary
Gypsy Pamela Lonsdale:
Local artist beloved by many, passed away peacefully at The Croft Rest Home on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, aged 92. Gypsy was an inspiration and lived a full, rich and creative life. Dearly loved wife of the late Eddie, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Yoga and Sanatan (Australia), Russell and Jane (Canada), Jill and Rodney (Piha), loved and adored grandmother of Tahlia; Edwin, and Amy; Annie, Rosie, and Athena, also great-grandmother of Malachi, and Taja. Sadly missed by Jack and June Saunders, John and Kate Saunders, Ross and Jocelyn Saunders, Jan Saunders, Brian Giles and Joanne Giles. A service for Gypsy will be held at St Johns Anglican Church, Wai-iti Road, Timaru, on Monday, April 18, at 1.00pm, thereafter private cremation. Gypsy's faithful worship amongst the Wednesday Fellowship Group at St John's, Highfield, Timaru will be sadly missed.She wore her faith for all to see and we give thanks for it.
A beautiful legacy from both Gypsy and Eddie can be admired and adored for ever in our Church. Their talents were certainly God given,

She was a renowned Art teacher at Craighead for my years 1963-1967, I was not an art student, but she was loved and revered by all pupils.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mother. She was a good friend to my aunt, Ruth Millar. I remember visiting her and loved being around her.....
