Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Margaret Wilson Hospital, Timaru, on Sunday, May 11, 2025; in her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon. Loved and cherished mum of Jan Hide and Sandy, David and Jenny, Tony and Afsaneh, Chris and Vicki, Richard and Linda. Loved and adored nana of Damon, Michael, Blake, Julia; Sarah, Greta, Jo, Milly; Naveed, Omeed, Riaz; Aidan, Erin; Malvin, Monique, Gina, and their partners. A loved great-grandma of her 20 great-grandchildren. Loved sister-in-law of Moyna Gensik. Greatly respected by Ashley Hide. A memorial service for Gwenyth will be held at St Peter's Church, 2 Dyson Street, Temuka on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10.30am. Messages to: Jan Hide, 1208 Peel Forest Road, RD 22, Geraldine 7992.
