Gregory Michael (Greg):
Surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Timaru Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Zhimin. Devoted dad. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Graham and Jill (Alexandra), Phil and Glen (Wellington), John and Christine (Christchurch), Adrienne and Ian Morrison (Timaru), Paul and Anne (Timaru), and Dave and Jan (Christchurch). A treasured uncle to all his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to Motor Neurone Association would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A Service for Greg will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Wilkin Street, Temuka, Tomorrow (Tuesday), February 5, 2019, at 2.00pm, followed by a burial at the Temuka Cemetery.

Greg ws a man I greatly admired as he treated all with kindness. There was a calmness that allowed others to shine. A true gentlemen and may he rest in peace. I knew him during his time teaching in Invercargill. Kind Regards John Watkins

Greg was a gentleman. It was my pleasure to work with Greg in Invercargill. He was a firm friend and a great role model to his students. My fondest memories of Greg were of Greg with his lovely wife. Greg was a kindly father and clearly devoted to his family. Greg was a practicing Catholic and a man of morality and a one of the most grounded and decent people I have ever known. May Greg be at peace.
